JJ stands for “Jonette Jewelry Company.” The company was created in the 1940s by two brothers who decided to honor their parents by forming the name “Jonette” as a combination of their names: “John” and “Etta.” Jonette produced costume jewelry, especially charming figurals, until 2006.
