Vintage Jantzen 1940s men’s blue ribbed swim suit size M EUC

1940s Vintage Jantzen men’s fitted swim suit in a royal blue ribbed terry like fabric with adjustable belt at waist in great vintage condition. Iconic Jantzen logo of a diving woman patch applique on front leg. I used the logo to date this piece on Vintage Fashion Guild and it confirmed it as a 1940s piece. Made in USA. Marked size 38 but seems smaller - please use posted measurements for sizing. Ribbed fabric has a bit of stretch. Fabric remains vibrant. The only flaw is that the hem for the belt has become unstitched 4” or so on the inner waistband - an easy fix - please see photos. An incredible example of historic American swimwear.
