Vintage Japan Belsnickel Santa Claus Figurine- Standing on Base St. Nicholas #2

Santa 2 of 2 Older vintage cone shaped Santa Claus stands holding a pipe cleaner "tree" on a stand of glittered snow. This suspected 1940s holiday Santa has a hand painted celluloid or paper mache face, cotton beard with felt jacket and flocked paper pants. He has chenille boots, hands trim on his coat and hat. His arms appear wired and threaded under the beard. Frontal view of black belt is hidden under his arms and beard. Beard is longer than #1. Approximately 5" tall in nice vintage condition. There is an area of chipping on the backside behind the leg of the snowy mounting disc. The glittered surface is more discolored than with #1 Small bottom sticker reads 10 cents Japan. Fabulous addition for collectors display or might make a wonderful domed centerpiece. Condition as shown. There is some mild discolorations and wear, showing its age and history. As with any vintage item there will be evidence of use, chipped, discoloration and wear, look closely at pictures for the details. Selling in as is condition.
