Japanese Art of Chokin 24k Gold Trim, Floral and Bamboo design, Decorative plate, 1985 🍎 Beautiful Japanese Art Of Chokin decorative plates. Features "Happy Anniversary" design of wedding bells, doves, and floral garland around the rim. 🍎 Gilded in gold and silver by Art of Chokin ancient engraving technique, which was originally introduced in the 6th century in Japan. The engravings were created to decorate the armament of the Samurai warriors. 🍎 Measures about 6" in diameter. Pre-owned but still in great condition. No cracks, chips, crazing, stains, discoloration or loss of color. Edges are smooth and free from nicking. Gold gild is continuous with no to signs of wear. The pattern has held up well. The surface is glossy and clean, and plate has a nice shine.
