Preloved yet beautiful Japanese robe. No tag or size in size. It would fit a mens XL or maybe bigger. I do not know if this was originally intended for a man or woman to wear. It was purchased by my mother in a traditional Japanese robe shop on the west coast in the 60s. Sapphire silk. Small hole on the back close to the bottom of robe. See photo. There is some pilling that easily comes off the back embroiderly and places where the silk has faded with age. One small spot not visible when worn with robe closed.
