Vintage Japanese tapestry coat

Vintage Japanese embroidered tapestry coat. This was purchased by my mother in the early 1950’s when they were stationed in Japan. Beautiful embroidered tapestry, frog style closure. Jacket is in pristine condition- has been lovingly stored in a sealed garment bag all these years. To my knowledge it was only worn once - to a formal affair at the White House during President Reagan’s tenure. No tag on this one, but others she had that were similar were marked Sun Bros. & Co. Yokohama, Japan.
