Vintage Jet, Onyx, & Marble Victorian Barrel Clasp Mourning Choker 16" Long

This 16" Victorian Mourning Choker has a screw together clasps. The barrel clasp was standard during the Victorian Era. As you can see the Oriental influence in the painted marble bow shaped beads. This is a late Victorian piece, made when the 19th century was bleeding into the 20th century. It's heavier than modern jewelry.
