Vintage Joske's 195 Deluxe Sewing Machine~Made In Japan Working Condition~Rare. This is a rare pinkish 195 deluxe sewing machine branded for Joske's Department Store. Joske's was a department store established 1869 in San Antonio, Texas. They competed with Foley's and Macy's and were bought by Dillard's in 1987. This machine was made in Japan by Sanshin (possibly National), branded for Joske's, and is likely from the 1950's. It has all metal innards (it weighs 40 pounds), and is designed to last more than a lifetime. The machine is beautiful and ready for display or use, perfect for someone wanting to show a bit of Texas history! This sale includes the sewing machine, the power cord and speed controller, a bobbin a needle - everything you see in the pictures. This sewing machine is remarkably looking and very well taken care of. Power right on and needle move up and down freely when I pressed the pedal. No further testing was done since I’m not a sewist.
