Vintage Karl Lagerfeld Gold Plated Book Library Bibliotheque 4 volume brooch Karl Lagerfeld had an incredible personal library, over 30,000 books. Reading was hugely important to him. On offer is a near pristine 4 volume 24kt gold plated brooch which looks like the spins of four shelved books, at least one of which is his journal This brooch measure slightly over 2" by slighlty over 1.5", and sits 1/4" up/out pin stem in good condition and mechanism works very well. I would give this 9.75 out of 10, due to a slight darkening from age (exposure to air) I do not have original box but this brooch will be shipped with the greatest of care.
