Vintage Kate Hines Modernist Mother Of Pearl Cabochon Silvertone Earrings 2.5 Insane modernist earrings from Kate Hines. Silvertone Flat ovals with a brushed industrial finish with beautiful large mother of pearl cabochons at the top. They have what I believe are their original earring backs, but I will provide support backs as well. *I will test them for Sterling Silver content later today as they seem like it to me but I was unable to find a 925 stamp with initial looking. I really wanted to get these listed. I will update 12/23/24 in the afternoon. Modernist & maybe brutalist with an industrial like flair but still feminine & Pretty with that large luminous cabochon. Excellent preowned condition. No flaws. Signed on the bottom back. They measure 2.5" by 1.5" and are relatively flat. They do weigh 13.28 grams, but when I tried them on, they didn't seem to really yank my ear lobes. Also, the large scale hides any amount of pull that does occur & they were NOT uncomfortable if you are used to larger earrings. I have a short asymmetric haircut & they looked amazing on the ear length Bob side. All jewelry is stored and shipped in individual bags for preservation and protection.
