Vintage Kilt Pin Large Steel Safety Pin Scottish

Vintage steel safety pin. Very hefty and strong. 1940’s militaria piece. Traditionally used as a fastener for kilts. This one is large 3” x 1/2”. I have seen these used as scarf pins, blanket pins, cape and cloak pins too. I have seen charms hanging from these and worn as a brooch. We used this one as our extra key chain / key fob. Quite likely this pin is from a Scottish soldier’s WWII uniform kilt. I will be listing a few more. Sleek, simple and genius design. Form and function are married here harmoniously! Some very slight age related surface wear. Adaptable for goth, punk, street ware, steampunk styles too. Vintage kilt scarf safety pin. Unisex. KP2
