This vintage LA Gear jean jacket & high waisted jeans are a must have for the cool kids club. Lovingly taken care of for many years. It is truly one of a kind. A little west around collar but no pit stains or stains inside jeans (if you know what I mean). High waisted jeans with zip enclosure & pink metal button size 7/26 which true to fit. Jean jacket is Medium, somewhat cropped. The shoulder pads have lost a bit of luster. I surely hope this goes to a good home.

swag9587 @ysjdodoskskzoso The waist is definitely up to the belly button mom waist from that decade which cinches the smallest part of waist. Paula Abdul wore this same thing in video. I actually had to add LA Gear into the Poshmark site. Lol

swag9587 @ysjdodoskskzoso there are absolutely no rips, all zippers, buttons are perfect. There is west around color of denim jacket & a smidge lighter than jeans but no one would notice unless a vintage collector.

theluckylibra @swag9587 In case you hadn't realized, that first comment ^is a scam! Lots of this on Posh, sadly, so beware. They were only really interested in getting you do to do some sort of off site info-phishing transaction. Now, for why I'm here- lol- this set is fantastic! Paula Abdul and Janet Jackson were my first concerts as a kid in the 80s. I worshipped them! Still a big 80s enthusiast and very much wish I could afford to "adopt" these from you! At least I'll keep them on my radar!

theluckylibra @swag9587 Only thing is I do wonder about the waist! I am usually about a 28" waist. Is there any give to the denim? I know stretch jeans weren't really a thing back in the day.

swag9587 @theluckylibra @theluckylibra I was scammed big time w/ my first thing ever posted on Posh. I learned my lesson the hard way. Thank you for thinking of other poshers by posting. I’ll give you more measurements. I was able to squeeze into jeans in Feb but not anymore. 😕

swag9587 Unfortunately, this had zero give. It is 100% cotton. I’ve measured again at exactly, 26in waist. From button enclosure in front to inseam is 11.25in. It definitely has the 80/90s “mom fit” so definitely measure a smidge below your belly button. It is definitely a blast from the past!

theluckylibra @swag9587 Ok, thank you for double checking- much appreciated! Hmmm, I wonder... Also, sorry you got scammed right off the bat. I had a negative experience right away too, my order order was never sent and got canceled without an explanation or response from the seller (who was and is still active by the way)! The next went fine, but the third order went just like the first! Thankfully few issues since. So strange. I figure most people here aren't dodgy types. We gotta look out for each other!
