Vintage Light Blue Lace Knit Cardigan Sweater Amy Austin Great Girl 60s Don't let the lace knitting pattern on this dainty light blue cardigan fool you. It is surprisingly thick & will keep you warmer than you think. This kind of cardigan was very popular during the 1960s & while serviceable & practical, it is obvious that the designers paid attention to detail. The sweet scalloped edges & the serpentine-like design will win you compliments and will dress up a simple t-shirt and jeans, especially if you accessorize with a scarf, a brooch or a string of pearls. Because this is a used vintage article of clothing, it does have signs of wear, including some pilling. There is no size indicated on the tag, & I am estimating that it is close to a women's size small but please take note of the measurements to be sure it will fit. There is no tag saying what kind of yarn the cardigan is made from, so washing w/ cold water, or even by hand & air drying would be a good idea. Enjoy an evening out on the town, or a very feminine day at work when you wear this adorable cardigan.
