Vintage Lake Powel Souvenir Gold Tone Metal Thimble

This cool thimble was discovered in a bag of wood thread spools and other vintage sewing notions (1930s - 1960s). It is a silver tone thimble with a blue, yellow, and navy enamel applique with the words Lake Powel and Lake design on it. Maker mark is FORT. Circa 1960s. Very good quality and condition - chip of gold tone paint on bottom of thimble. Weighs 22 grams. Lake Powell established in 1963, is located in northern Arizona and stretches up into southern Utah. It's part of the Colorado River in Glen Canyon National Recreation Area.
