The tag dates to the 1930s and early 1940s. Light discoloration on the inside of the dress - unclear if it is from age or from the green dye bleeding. A few spots / discoloration on the edge of the bodice and pointed out in photos. *** Labeled size "40", which would convert to a US size 8, but this dress is vintage sizing and fits much different. PLEASE CHECK MEASUREMENTS FOR YOURSELF *** Material is a thicker, more heavy cotton weave. The metal clasps for the top are very strong and sturdy. MEASUREMENTS ARE IMPORTANT.
