Look here, you dont find one like this very often. Genuine vintage Levi's western shirt, pearl snaps, beautiful lilac and grey plaid with a fine silver metallic throughout. Size medium Shirt is in great vintage condition, soft and worn but with no pilling. Collar points have very faint wear, refer to pictures. I am open to offers but just know this is my "I dont need to sell this" price, this shirt can stay in my closet forever, just putting it out there in case someone wants it more than me 😁

aquerne Hi! I absolutely love the look of this plaid, but since it would be quite a splurge for me even if I were to put in an offer, I wanted to make sure the fit would be good on me. I usually wear XS or S but am wondering if this is more of a vintage size medium that runs smaller. Would you be able to take the pit to pit, the waist, and shoulder to shoulder measurements for me? I would really appreciate it! Thanks so much :)

fiery_cowgirl Hello, thanks so much for your interest in this shirt 🙂 I tried to update the listing with the measurements but it's not letting me for some reason. Pit to pit is 20.5" The waist looks like 19", and that is the most narrow point before it widens back out in the hip area. Width across the top of the shoulders is 17", Body length is 29", and that's from top of shoulder to bottom hem.

aquerne @fiery_cowgirl Hi, I really appreciate you measuring! At a glance, I *think* this might end up being a bit too big for me based on those numbers (I don't mind wearing plaid shirts a little oversized, but I think western-cut shirts are meant to be worn a bit slim-fitting?). I'm still going to measure against a couple of my shirts when I get home and let you know, though. Thanks again :)

aquerne @fiery_cowgirl Gotcha-- I'm a 2/4 with narrow shoulders, but I tend to really gravitate to lilac things because I think they look good on me -- and this shirt is beautiful. I have to figure out if there's a way I can swing it or if it just won't look as good worn with a loose fit. Thanks again!

fiery_cowgirl @aquerne I can certainly understand being drawn to this shirt, its definitely unique. If you or someone you know does alterations, it may be able to be taken in to fit you if it ends up being roomier than you'd like. Just a thought 🙂

aquerne @fiery_cowgirl Sorry for taking so long to reply -- my shirts weren't giving me an accurate idea so I got my sister to bring over a comparably sized shirt for me to try on (she generally wears an 8-10). The verdict is I think this might just end up being too big, especially in the shoulders, which would be tough to take in. If I just can't get it out of my mind, I may be back, but I think I'm going to have to say no for now :( I really, really appreciate all your help, though! Thanks again!
