susfai I wore this dress at my wedding in 1974. It had a satin waist sash and it tied into a bow at the back. It was $100 😏

reebler @alexisgranthem Hi there! The natural waist line on this is free, but where the bodice transitions to the skirt it measures 26" around. It's more of an "empire waist/high waist" construction.

reebler @susfai That's really sweet to hear! I removed the satin sash/bow on this one. Amazing what $100 could get you back then...doesn't get us much these days, unfortunately. Happy that this relic has persevered and still holds it's charm and quality.

okwhatever4ever Is there any stretch to the 26" waist? Any chance you could measure the point where the part of the waist starts, from the top of the shoulder down?
