True to LV’s fine craftsmanship and leather, this bag has held up over time and is a showcase on how durable Louis Vuitton bags are. Like any Vintage bags, there are some flaws. The interior zipper and side pocket are no longer functional due to improper storage, and is stuck together. However, the interior itself is roomy and can fit many things like your phone, keys, and makeup!

geevee828 @threadsbykim hi there! That is the indeed the original shoulder strap. Unlike newer models, the strap on this bag can’t be removed/unclipped off. The bag is about 30 years old and has been stored in a closet for the past 7 years.

geevee828 @nicnacgk hi there! There isn’t a smell that protrudes from the bag since LV bags do a really good job aging. However, if you stick you nose right next to it, there is a smell of old leather. I wouldn’t say it smells good or bad, just old leather.

geevee828 @nicnacgk of course! Measurements are approx 9” long, 6” tall, and 2” wide. The total strap length is 45” long and hangs about 22” down when carried. Hope that helps 😊

Vintage LV leather is super durable, so besides the flaw I listed from storing this incorrectly, it’ll last multiple decades after. nicnacgk @geevee828 it’s only a 10.00 difference than listed, why do offers then? Postmark sellers are so confusing. I normally buy and sell on another platform and it’s much more direct. Best offer to me is 50.00 to 100.00 less. I guess everyone is different. Good luck!

geevee828 @nicnacgk no worries! I added more photos of the loops, and focused on where it’s attached to the bag. There isn’t any seams coming undone there. However, I do want to point out there is an undone seam for the second “fastener” for the strap. It doesn’t affect the function of the bag, though. When I carried this in the past, I almost never needed to use the second one since the first one already kept the strap in place. Take a look!
