@tiannac11 I have no idea. I don’t see one. I purchased it around 1988 at Neiman Marcus at the Houston Galleria. It may have worn off? I just recently found the number on my Verni LV and I had to use a flashlight to see it. I will try that tomorrow and let you know if I find it and post a picture. I actually never knew they had numbers until recently. I have always purchased new from Neimans or the LV shop never concerned about it before.

Apparently the number was on a leather tag attached to the underside of the inside pocket. As you can see from the photo, that is the area that has come unseen. I suspect the tag came off and was lost.
