Vintage MATSUDA Nicole Tokyo Japan Split Hem Off White Blouse (Made in Japan)

Gorgeously constructed true vintage MATSUDA Nicole Tokyo Japan blouse. Made in Japan. Blouse hem is split into pieces resembling flower petals. Fastens up the front with several hidden buttons and two pairs of visible buttons at the collar and at the bottom near the hem. Each sleeve cuff is also fastened with 3 buttons. The buttons themselves are gorgeous HEPTAGONS — yep, 7 sided! (Be sure to check them out in the photos.) This blouse is exquisitely constructed — be sure to look at the pictures showing tiny single stitches above and below each button, to hold the fabric in place and keep them hidden. This blouse is in overall excellent vintage condition (the care tag saying dry clean only — for polyester! — is very worn) but there are a few teeny teeny specks of light brown discoloration visible upon really close inspection; you can check out the close up photos for examples. The price reflects the fact it’s not in absolutely flawless condition. Approximately 19 in from pit to pit; approximately 32 in from front collar to bottom hem (where the two central split pieces would meet to form a single unsplit hem.) Rare vintage piece from this Japanese designer!
