Vintage MCM Georges Briard Serving Tray Regency Glama Glass Paisley Peacock WOW! Here is a near perfect double welled serving platter by world renowned mid century designer George’s Briard with wooden, gold tipped handles. There are very light signs of use as you can see in parts of the gold print and handles, but nothing overly obvious and one should expect this to show the age. This is a rare find and perfect for all you glama guys and gals that love to flash your mid century modern decor. It would also be great for maximalists as it is a showy piece!! This is a signed piece as shown in the photos. George’s Briard was an American designer in the 50’s, 60’s and 70’s. He was born Jascha Brojdo in Russian Ukraine and moved to the US in the 1930s. He studied art at the University of Chicago and the Art Institute of Chicago. Briard’s creations were in the homes of the most fashionable hosts of the mid-century and are now highly prized by collectors. B8
