Vintage MCM Viking Glass & Rainbow Owl Bottle Decanter Ruby Red

This is a wonderful piece of hand-blown retro art glass from the 1960's, when owl decor was all the rage. The red color and owl theme scream mid-century! The bottle was hand blown into a mold and has a soft pontil on the bottom. There are no chips or cracks, and it is in excellent vintage condition. The Rainbow Glass factory was located in Huntington' W.Va. and operated from 1942 to 1973 when it was sold to Viking Glass. The bottle is 7 and 1/4 inches tall without the cork, 4 and 1/2 inches wide and about 3 and 1/4 inches deep. It weighs 1 pound and 4 oz. This piece would be a great addition to an art glass or bottle collection, or just a fun piece of decor.
