The Mallory Hat Company the oldest hatter in the U.S. and originator of the fedora type hat was founded in 1823 by Ezra Mallory near Danbury Connecticut, a.k.a. “Hat City”. It had been controlled solely by the Mallory family during its 129 years until 1952 when the John B. Stetson Company bought out the Mallory Hat Company. I have no further information regarding the age of this hat except it dates pre 1952. *Material: Felt *Color: Brown *Size: No marks but measures 21 1/2” Circumference with a 1” light brown braided band *Label: Mallory on inside crown & Mallory Torino Quality on the inside sweat band Exterior of the hat is in very good shape with no visible flaws. Minimal wear or marks; however, the sweat band has some deteriorating / cracks as noted in photos.

debscott @anderson8546 I would say with the measurements I provided it should fit. However, I would definitely take a measurement of your head circumference just to make sure. I do have a hat fitting guide in my closet. If you would take a look at that it will tell you how to properly measure for hats

debscott @anderson8546 I also found this information which would tell me the hat would fit M-L. Men’s hats and caps are generally sized in types: numerical sizing and alpha sizing (small through extra large). In some cases, you may find men’s hats listed as OSFM, or one size fits most. These OSFM hats will generally fit heads with a circumference of 21.5 inches to 23 inches or a medium/large.

kingofsteam Hi, can you flip up the leather sweatband? There’s usually a size written underneath the leather, (like 14 =7 1/4. 58= 7 5/8 etc) can you flip over the leather sweatband and see if you can find a size or numbers written? Thank you! Kevin
