Vintage Mancer Italian Sheep Transumanza Ashtray Trinket Dish

Vintage Mancer made in Italy hand-painted dish with sheep grazing in a pasture with trees and rolling hills in the distance. The Italian term transumanza refers to the crossing or migration of sheep (and cows) from one point to another and back. The shape of this piece lends itself to multiple uses including a trinket or catch-all dish, or an ashtray. The dish is in great condition with no chips, cracks, or paint loss, and the original stamp on the back. This piece measures approximately 6.5" in diameter and 1.5" tall.
