How does this lay on the hair? Is it a tiara where it sticks upwards from the head or is it more like a headband?

@neelystylist Hi Cornelia 👋🏻 Thank you for your message. Short answer: it’s both. It is shaped like a headband but the top of it sits on top of the head like a tiara. It would work well with an up do and you just slide the ends of the headband part into the hair on each side. Then the tiara apart would stand up above that. We hope that is clear. @neelystylist You can also wear it more like a head band, as shown on J Lo. It would be easy to pin in place that way at either end of the headband, basically behind the ears so the pins don’t show.
