Vintage Martinelli & Co. Apple-Shaped Clear Glass Jug

This is a vintage Martinelli's 1/2 gallon glass Apple-Shaped jug. Martinelli was founded in 1868 in Watsonville, California and uses all its apples grown in the USA. It still uses the same recipe and is made of 100% apple juice with no additives, preservatives, or sugars added to it. In 1933 they developed the signature apple-shaped glass bottle with embossed leafing detail for the Gold metal winning apple juice known as the "Golden Apple" and paired it with the new slogan "Drink Your Apple A Day". Makes a great kitchen or home decor accent piece. Perfect for apple juice, lemon water, lemonade, or sweet tea. Measures approx 8.5 inches tall and hold 1/2 a gallon of liquid and a wire handle to make carrying it easy and convenient.
