Vintage Mary Mcfadden Couture Navy Blue Ribbed Channel Quilted Silk Cocktail Blazer Skirt Set, size 12. Beautiful 1990s vintage cocktail suit from Mary McFadden is constructed in channel quilted (or trapunto) navy blue silk, one of McFadden's signature fabric treatments. The jacket's mandarin collar, lapel, hemline, and cuffs are finished in a wider channel than the jacket shell and skirt. The jacket has small shoulder pads and closes with a zippered closure with two hook-and-eye clasps. The skirt has waist darts, a long walking vent on the left side, and a side zipper. The fabric has an elegant texture and is very soft and lightweight. Made in the USA. Excellent vintage condition. Please note that vintage sizing runs smaller than modern sizing.
