Vintage Masai Flat Bead Necklace Women Africa Ceremonial 12” Multi Hand Made #2

A beautiful hand made vintage Masai women’s beaded necklace, probably made around the 1950s. Typical of the kind worn by Masai women during ceremonial dances, it represents the woman’s village. This piece was probably worn often based on the darkening of the beads. It’s recommended not to clean it as beads with wear is a sign of age. Condition is very good vintage, colors include white, orange, red, blue, green, and black. It has minor wear and possibly bead loss typical of age and use.
