Beautiful vintage Scott McClintock dropped fitted waist peach hued dress. White sheer lace adorns the upper bodice & sleeves. Pretty white lace embellishes the neckline, sleeves & around the back cut-out. 2 layers of peach brocade material makes up the skirt lined by a crinoline lining which gives this dress that ball gown silhouette. A big peach ribbon punctuates the left side. Shoulder pads. Button at top & zipper at bottom of cutout. Bodice fully lined. B34" W28" L42.5"

lilmunk So, soooo pretty! I had several when I was young and also a bedding set with canopy. I think they were all lost in a house fire at my Mom's. 😕

classicpatty @lilmunk Fortunately, there were no casualties. The fire started from one of those Coleman kerosene lamps which was used by most households in the rural areas of the Philippines back in those days. We were all fine! It must have been quite devastating for you and your mom when her house burnt down.

lilmunk Glad to hear everyone survived, but it still must have been quite devastating. You know, it was upsetting when my mom's house burned, but it brought us together in a lot of ways, and put so many aspects of life in perspective. Although we wouldn't want it to happen again - to is or to anyone - I'm partially grateful to have had the experience. Not to downplay it (it certainly was not fun), but it was just stuff that was destroyed, and my mom was insured. I do miss my sweet party dresses and all the fun clothes and shoes from the 80s that I had stored at my mom's -- especially now that I'm on Posh. 😊 Let's now think happy thoughts, Pretty Lady!
