Vintage McCoy USA Yellow Tassel Vase

This vintage ceramic vase is signed McCoy on the base. Nelson McCoy Pottery was made in Zanesville, Ohio from the early 1900’s until 1981 when Nelson and Billie McCoy left the company. This vase is nicknamed the Tassel Vase and it was made by McCoy in 1948. It can be found in various McCoy Collector books and was made in coral, yellow and turquoise green glazes. Features: Glossy yellow glaze 2 ornate handles Bulbous ribbed body A tassel draping down the front on each side McCoy pottery was production pottery and this piece has a few flaws from the manufacturer to note; a small spot of green where a turquiose glaze was smudged, and drops of glaze or clay slip along the front on the opposite side.
