Vintage Medium Checkered Gingham Bib Front Cotton Midi Dress

This is a really interesting piece, and I'm not sure on dating. It could be anywhere from the 1950s to the 1980s. Based on the feel of the fabric and the buttons, I'm guessing most like 1980s in that 80s-does-40s style house dress. Syvel's was an extremely popular high end department store in Manila that closed in the last 1980s. The dress is while with a gingham check that is a pretty peachy pink.
