Vintage Men's Brown Blue Glen Plaid Wool Sport Coat Blazer 1960s Mens Jacket 40R

Amazing men's vintage brown and blue bold glen plaid sport coat made from a medium weight wool. The wool fabric has a versatile ecru background with a fabulous bold glen plaid print in hues of blue, tan and brown. Earthy, neutral retro vibes. The jacket has a notched collar with a two button closure. Each cuff sleeve is accented with two smaller coordinating buttons (non-functioning). There are three functional pockets on the front of the jacket including a chest pocket and two welt pockets with flaps (one with a small stash pocket). There are two interior pockets. One pocket has a label stating the jacket was "Tailored expressly for Kennedy's," a department store that operated in Boston from 1892 until it was purchased by Van Heusen in the late 1970s. The sport coat is partially lined in a coordinating navy blue lining and is in excellent vintage condition. Noted a flaw in the lining right below the coat tag (last photo). The back has one center vent. True vintage, sturdy durable wool, and stellar craftsmanship. Perfect addition to your office wardrobe or vintage collection.
