Bag measures 8 x 12 x 2.5 inches Shoulder strap approximately 5 inches Authentic & Rare Vintage Mid Century Modern Luxury brand early-nineteen thirties on, Bags by Josef, of Gold Seal Importers, were the ultimate in luxurious beaded handbags and accessories. They were very, very expensive. From New York City, these fine treasures were seen in the top, most prestigious stores at the time such as Saks Fifth Avenue, Harrod's, and other fine boutiques around the world. Condition INTERIOR condition excellent vintage. TAG attached. No stains satin fabric lining and black color. EXTERIOR All beads full color black. No issues. Strap Issue As of the date of listing issue with the shoulder strap as photographed. Unfortunately was injured in a move. This can easily be repaired but hoping to repair as originally crafted not just a stitch to hold. Not sure if current thread can work or hide an addition thread strategically under bead on strap connected but needs a few stiches to follow the back forth pattern to fasten to purse securely.
