Vintage Midcentury Japan Demitasse Cup and Saucer, Green Candy Stripe, Gilt, Iri

Vintage 1940’s/ 1950’s porcelain demitasse cup and saucer in a pretty mint green candy stripe that squiggles and gives the set dimensionality and personality. The handle is ornate and covered in gilt. There are fine gilt accents on rims and borders. Can be used for: Decor, tea, espresso/coffee, matcha, to store trinkets / toothpicks/ matches, or as a small bud vase, etc. Marked “Made in Japan” on bottoms of both pieces. Occupied Japan. Size: Holds approximately 3 oz. Cup: 2” x 3” x 2.25” Saucer: 4.25” diameter. Condition: Good vintage condition. Saucer has a firing dot. Gilt has occasional areas of rub off (minimal). NPK-24(Et)
