Vintage Midwife's Shawl Outlander Pioneer Antique

64" x 134" 100% wool shawl worn by a midwife (Great-grandmother) traveling by horse and buggy in the 1800's, as testified by Grandmother. Remarkably well-preserved work of the finest craftsmanship. 3" fringe all around finely twisted and felted in place over time. Many beautiful hues of gray. Just too large to photograph in toto. So many looks and views obtained by folding. There are shadows in the photography: there is no yellowing or staining as may appear by said shadows.
