Vintage Mink Hat

This hat was purchased at Saks Fifth Ave. The exterior is in excellent condition however he interior, which appears to be silk has deteriorated to some degree! The hat is still wearable, there are no signs of the deterioration from the outside. The hat measures approximately 8 in across and 4 in tall. Inside shows the Saks fifth Avenue label and also a union made label.In all the furs I have seen from my great aunts collection it is appropriate to have the tiny feet or even the face of the mink showing.
