Vintage Miyako Peacock Flowers Porcelain Heart Box

Vintage trinket box from 1960s. Heart shaped with peack and flowers design. Made by Miyako Imari in Japan, marked on bottom. Creamy white porcelain with heavy glaze. Glaze has crazing. Bottom has dark red panels with gold leaf designs between peacock panels. Lid has dark red band around outside with gold leaf floral design. Peacock pair in middle with flowers. Gold leaf outlines. 1 5/8 inches high, 3 inches heart top to point, 3 1/8 inches wide. Good condition, no chips or cracks. Does have a stone mark on unglazed lid rim that goes down into box. This is from the manufacturing process, common for the time period it was made. Great for holding jewelry or small treasures.
