Vintage Murano Sommerso Venetian Curved Vase in Gold and Gray

A beautiful and mysterious Venetian organic vase. Most likely made by Arte Nuova in the 1950's/60's, unmarked. Similar examples have a label which reads "Arte Nuova Murano, Pustetto & Zanetti, Made in Italy" from the 60s. A stunning combination of gold glass encased in gray glass, which is further encased in clear glass, using the Venetian developed Sommerso technique. 14"H x 4.5" base.
