Vintage Muro Welt Wingtip Brogues Oxford Lace Up Shoes Brown/Cream

Muro Welts are cult punk / rock n roll classics made in Mexico by Muro. Classic wingtip detailing in a lace up brogue style. Dark brown almost burgundy leather with contrasting cream. Good condition, with some wear throughout. Some creasing along the toes. Some wear to the back inner heels. Lots of life left Muro shoes were coveted, by the alternative entertainment biz in the late 80s, worn by many touring punk bands. Almost all Muro shoes were steel toe or platforms, sturdier than Dr Martens, handmade & quite affordable at the time, but you had to go to Mexico to obtain them. In 81 the little store opened, by 1991 you could tind them in specialty stores in major metro areas across the US, by 93 they were gone. Made in Mexico, as are all Vintage Muro Welt classics.
