Vintage 'My Fair Lady'-style 80s party dress

*Fabulous* dress, brand is trademarked CI New York - Paris, vintage 80s. Velvet bodice with bracelet-length sleeves, shoulder pads, statement bow, sweetheart neckline and emerald green taffeta high-low skirt. The black pattern on the green taffeta is a suede-velvet texture, and the pattern is a very "80s-does-the-1910s" look. This dress is_killer (I almost didn't list it - if I still lived in the city, this would stay in my closet, but I have a few of these original beauties and they should be shared!) Original owner purchased this in DC, gave it to me along with a few other choice pieces, please see other listings! Size 8, fits like a dress size 6/8, waist measures 14.5" flat across, armpit to armpit is 17.25", front hem falls at 25.5" and back hem 33" from seam of velvet bodice (see last pic). This dress is in incredible shape, the velvet is perfect, original zipper and shoulder pads, Internarional Ladies Garment Workers Union-made in the US (ILGWU). There is a small and easily fixable separation of the skirt from the bodice in the back, please see picture. Additionally, one patch of the suede velvet pattern shows a light pattern of wear, but you have to look for it - please see close-up of the skirt.
