Vintage NYC Department of Corrections 100% Wool Sweater. Large/Blue

NYC Department of Corrections Vintage 100% heavy duty wool sweater. Label indicates “XL”, though it wears more like a “L”. Anyone can wear this; unisex. Manufactured by Blauer, known for their specialty in law enforcement and first responder uniforms. Metal bronze buttons, nylon elbows and shoulder pads. Holes on the shoulder pads for medals and badges. Dark Blue. One is the pictures shows two small holes in the back, probably from equipment while on the job. Very warm officially issued sweater that gets lots of attention. Newer issued versions are no longer wool but fleece, so this one is “one of a kind”.
