I am downsizing my collections. This is a charming well aged tin that belonged to Dr. William Southwick of Marshalltown, Iowa who passed away in 1942. All that to say this tin is OLD. Dr. Southwick’s mailing label is on the lid interior.
The scene is of a cabin beside a lake with snow covered mountains and pine trees. Pines and mountains wrap the sides.
The Nabisco trademark is stamped on the bottom. The lid is secured with a functional, secure latch. Color families tans, browns, gold edging. Interior is gold.
Overall very good condition on a very old and unusual piece with provenance. There are spots of rust mainly on interior. The exterior shows small spots of paint loss.
Smoke free dog loving home.
