C-7107 Japan Label, approx 8" pitcher and shallow bowl. The pitcher and bowl have a few stains and marks on bottom due to storage and aging. Otherwise, glaze is in good condition. There are no chips, repairs, or cracks that I can tell, see photos before cleaning and after with size.
Irwin Garber and David Rein founded the National Potteries Corporation (Napco) in Bedford, Ohio, in 1938. Their company was one of the many Ohio-based pottery companies at that time. Napco started small, producing ceramics like vases and candy dishes. It changed course after the war, becoming predominantly an importer of Japanese ceramics.
During its 1950s peak, Napco was one of several companies that manufactured or imported kitschy home décor.
