Measurements: 12.75 inches tall x 9.75 inches wide The piece features a ship, whales, knots, and anchors, and includes an excerpt from the Ella Wheeler Wilcox poem 'Tis The Set Of The Sail' or 'One Ship Sails East'. It is all cross stitched on a linen background in a simple wood frame, ready to hang. One ship sails East, And another West, By the self-same winds that blow, 'Tis the set of the sails And not the gales, That tells the way we go. The needlepoint is in good vintage condition. There are a couple of tiny pinhead size spots from age. The frame has some wear.
