Exquisite necklace of five pendants of mother of pearl teardrop shaped stones in bezels surrounded by flower, raindrop and flourish detailing Each pendant is about 2 in. by 1 in. Tiny turquoise, ranging from green to blue, provide lovely accents to the design. The pendants have been re-strung in the original arrangement of vintage Navajo pearls interspersed with MOP beads The necklace hangs at a 17.5 in. length. A contemporary extender of 2 in. (or 3 in. by request) can be added. Weighing in at about 62 grams the necklace makes a stunning statement Likely dating from the 70s, it is in excellent vintage condition - the MOP glows and the silver displays some very nice patina. Signed by noted artisan JH Yazzie, it is a beautiful and unique example of Navajo artistry.
