Vintage Navajo Sterling Silver Amethyst Ring

Vintage statement ring by Navajo silversmith Ann Curley. This artist is known for using glittering gemstones as alternatives to the more traditional turquoise and shell that is typically seen in Native pieces. This ring is sterling silver with a glittering lab-created amethyst. It’s in great vintage condition. It does have a moderate amount of tarnish that one would expect for a piece of this age. For many collectors, this is a desirable trait and adds to the value. I always include a silver polishing cloth so the new owner can choose how they’d like to wear it.
