Vintage Navy Blue Purse

The tag looks like it says Ellen or Ellin. Tried looking it up but could not place the brand or year correctly. I believe it is before 1980. The strap has a few bends because my mom used to have it tied to make it shorter. She also used it as a clutch since the strap fit inside easily. It's a dark blue with a gold decorative piece on the front.
