Vintage Nolan Miller Highly Embellished Blazer - Small Gray

This beautiful vintage 1980’s 100% wool blazer was designed by famous Dynasty fashion designer, Nolan Miller, and is intricately adorned with an abundance of embellishments on the front and around the neck area including beads, metallic gold threads, and embroidery with a scrolling floral motif. Even the sleeve buttons are covered in beads. All the beads and threads are intact. One clasp front closure. This jacket screams Hollywood! Fully lined. Tag says size 6, but please refer to the approximate measurements below. I love the way the bottom of the jacket softly flares out, like the lines of Christian Dior’s famous bar jacket design. This blazer would look great with a pair of flowing silky or lame pants or skirt with a contrast of color such as ivory, silver, warm gray, or gold. So classic! Nolan Bertrandoff Miller (1933-2012) was an American fashion and jewelry designer on QVC and a television costume designer best known for his work on the long-running 1980s series Dynasty, its spin-off series The Colbys and the 1991 miniseries Dynasty: The Reunion. He collaborated on many projects with television producers Aaron Spelling and Douglas S. Cramer, including Charlie's Angels, The Love Boat, Fantasy Island, Hotel, and Vegas.
