Exquisite embroidery with pearls and bugle beads on front, back and sleeves. Light ivory. A few bugle beads and maybe some pearls were missing so they were replaced by professional antique textile restorer.
Faint stain on armpits
Silk very strong. Small tear on right sleeve. See photos. My finger points to tear on sleeve. Easily repaired with a few stitches. Hardly noticeable.

Designed in 1931 by Norman Hartnell (known as the British Dior). He designed wedding dresses for English royalty and socialites.
This was made for Valerie Violet French Brougham Kindersley. Lady Brougham and Vaux was an English socialite. She and her sister were included in the Book of Beauty by Cecil Beaton.
