Vintage O’Connells Indian Bleeding Madras Plaid Cotton Blazer, 40R made in USA

Trad clothier O’Connells sells the stalwart classics of American menswear - this indian madras jacket is decades old but they doubtless still sell a version of it today. Notch lapel, 2 roll 3 button front, single vented, half lined. The handloomed bleeding madras techniques used to dye this jacket in a tasteful plaid of yellow, green, red and blue no longer exist as they once did, nor does the organized union manufacturing that used to the norm. This jacket is a relic, then, but an amazingly preserved one, showing virtually no signs of wear. I found two small stains (rust spots maybe?) on the outer and inner lapel, otherwise in immaculate condition. see photos. No size tags but fits as a 40R.
